Impact Controls were key to the success of the Town Hall Complex Transformation Project. Having been involved in the industry for 25 years I can honestly say that the BMS system which controls all aspects of the complex Building Services installation is without doubt the best that I have seen. The amount of effort put in by the whole team really shows, all aspects of the system from installation through to the 963 graphics are first class.
We have achieved our targeted energy savings within the first year of occupation which is in no small part due to the high standards which have been set by the Impact team. The system incorporates a significant energy monitoring installation with some 450 water, gas, electricity and heat energy meters all of which have been comprehensively tested and validated. At the heart of the installation is a complex tri-generation plant which contributes to a significant reduction in carbon emissions for the complex. The complex control routines which regulate operation of the CCCHP system were all developed by the Impact Controls team. The Trend BMS System also controls close environmental conditions with the Central Libraries Archive facilities which are certified to the British Standard for such facilities. I would have no reservations in recommending Impact Controls in the future.
